The honest version of the ban question

No tool can promise your account is safe, and any tool that does is lying to you. What a tool can do is give you the controls to send like a careful person instead of a machine — and default to the cautious setting. Here is every control, in plain language.

LAYER 01

Test Mode

A full dry run. The campaign walks the whole target list and logs what it would have done — no message actually leaves your account. Use it before every new template.

LAYER 02

Safe Start

Raises your daily volume gradually instead of going from zero to hundreds overnight. Recommended on any account that hasn't sent much DM traffic before.

LAYER 03

Pacing presets

Conservative, Normal or Aggressive — each fills in the timing fields for you. They're a starting point, not a lock: every field stays editable afterwards.

LAYER 04

Hourly cap

A hard ceiling on messages per hour. The queue waits rather than bursting, so your sending pattern stays flat instead of spiking.

LAYER 05

Break schedule

After every N sends the campaign pauses for a set number of minutes. Nobody sends two hundred messages without putting the phone down, and neither does this.

LAYER 06

Automatic opt-outs

Anyone whose reply is just "stop" — recognised in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Turkish, Indonesian, Russian, Arabic and Hindi, accents or not — is never messaged again. You can add people manually too.

Plus duplicate memory, and your data stays on your machine

The extension remembers 10,000+ usernames you've already contacted, so a second campaign can't re-open the same conversation. Campaigns, templates, target lists, counters and logs all live in your browser's local storage — our server only holds a minimal licence record. Imported PDF and Excel lists are parsed in the browser and never uploaded. Full detail in the privacy policy.

Getting started

Sending in about five minutes

Install and open Instagram

Add it from the Chrome Web Store and go to Instagram as normal. The sidebar appears on the page. There's no separate account to create and nothing to connect — it works inside the session you're already logged into.

Pick a target and write one message

Choose a source — followers of an account, a hashtag, or your own list — then write a template with a couple of spintax options, or have the AI draft it. Run it in Test Mode first and read the log.

Turn Test Mode off and let it work

It sends at the pace you set, pauses for breaks, skips anyone you've already contacted, and fires follow-ups on schedule. You check the Results tab; it handles the rest.

The things people actually ask

Will this get my Instagram account banned?

Nobody can promise you it won't, and you should be suspicious of any tool that does. Automated DMs are against Instagram's terms, and the risk is never zero.

What this extension does is give you the controls to send carefully and default them to cautious: a full dry run in Test Mode, gradual warm-up with Safe Start, a hard hourly cap, scheduled breaks, conservative pacing presets, and automatic opt-outs. It sends from your own logged-in session at a pace you choose. Start slow, watch the log, and raise the numbers only when nothing looks off.

Do I need a big following for this to work?

No — and video 03 above is the clearest evidence we have. That customer had a single follower on the account, sent a hundred DMs, and had a lead the next day. Outreach doesn't depend on people finding you; it depends on you starting conversations with the right people.

Are the messages actually personalized, or is it a blast?

Templates use spintax — {Hi|Hey|Hello} style alternatives at any point in the message — plus placeholder variables for the recipient's details. A template with a handful of spin points produces dozens of genuinely different messages. You can also give the AI a tone and a goal and have it draft the variants, then edit them. The preview shows you exactly what a recipient sees before anything sends.

What can I target?

Followers of a specific account, the accounts a profile follows, people posting under a hashtag, or your own list. You can also import a target list from a PDF or Excel file — those are parsed inside your browser and never uploaded anywhere.

What happens to my data?

Campaigns, templates, target lists, counters, send memory and logs are stored locally in your browser. Our server keeps only a minimal licence record — your Google account ID, email, subscription status and Stripe customer ID. We don't store your messages or your target lists. Payments go through Stripe, so we never see your card. The one exception is the optional AI features, which send the context you provide to Anthropic's Claude API to draft or classify; if you don't use them, nothing message-related ever leaves your machine. The privacy policy spells out every party involved.

Is the free plan a trial?

No. It's a permanent plan: one campaign and ten messages a day, no credit card, no expiry. Pro removes the caps for $29.99 a month and you can cancel from the Stripe billing portal whenever you like.

Does it keep running when I close my laptop?

No. It's a browser extension that works inside your own Instagram session, so it sends while Chrome is open on that tab. That's also why it behaves like you do rather than like a server farm. Campaign progress is saved, so it picks up where it stopped when you come back.

Is this affiliated with Instagram?

No. IG Outreach Pro is an independent tool built by Highpoint Scaling. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Instagram or Meta Platforms in any way.
